![]() You may have heard of Cisco's Packet Tracer that this is a very popular, very excellent piece of software for studying Cisco devices and working with them and learning them. Is that GNS three? It is network emulation software, not simulation. So let's go through this next slide here. After this will go through the configuration and set up of GNS three and how you can get your lab up and running very quickly yourself on your own computer. This video is intended to go over some of the basics of GNS three, and it just give you a brief introduction as to the capabilities of the software and then in the following video. That this will really allow you to create a lot of topology is very quickly and people to test and lab up a lot of the things we're going to do in this course very quickly and very easily, and also have multiple apologies available and ready at your fingertips immediately. I highly recommend you get familiar with software if you're going to continue studying for your CCN A. Genus tree is a network device emulation software, and you may or may not have ever heard of this before. ![]()
